Uniform Partnership - Tombo Den, Victoria
Tombo Den transports customers into the streets of 90s Japan, celebrating Japanese street food and izakaya culture. Designed by DKO Architecture and Projects of Imagination, the space has a unique brutalist Japanese feel through the use of concrete, mahogany wood and marble finishes.

Tombo Den embodies a relaxed izakaya atmosphere, expressed through the staff’s casual uniforms; simple graphic tees that capture the brand’s playful yet refined character. This thoughtful blend of environment and uniform design cultivates an inviting, down-to-earth ambiance that welcomes guests to settle in and enjoy.

The shirt is cut from soft cotton jersey, finished with twin-needle stitching at the hem for a refined, durable feel. The apron and pants are made from a breathable cotton–Tencel® blend, chosen for comfort, longevity, and ease of movement. Thoughtful details include reinforced bar tacking, a practical front hip pocket, and a wrap-around waist tie on the apron, finished with a tea towel loop for everyday function.
The pants feature elasticated waistband panels with an internal drawcord for an adjustable fit, alongside side inseam pockets and back welt pockets, designed to move with you, wherever the shift takes you.
